Return of the Living Dead (or some such)
Heyhoo everyone.
*gleebles*
*tackles and bear hugs you all*
It's been waaaaaaay too long since got to interact with all of you, and I've missed you all like crazy. However, I have now finished my exams which means *drum roll*
I have now FINISHED MY DEGREE (technically)
I could have applied for graduation at the end of the session (but as I'm on the advanced strand doing my honours thesis is actually part of my degree...although I'm scared silly by that)
One of the worst sessions of uni yet. Teacher from hell who has astronomical expectations of us...in a subject that was half airy-fairy and half details so technical it was screwing with your head. I actually spent the last 14 weeks attempting to chase down what my honours project would be to start it in 2 weeks, but the responses I did get sounded horifically complex and only worthy of real academia working on it. I do have an offer for one thing that sounds desirable...but am waiting for word from supervisors (Don't they realise how utterly nerve-wracking it is for me when there are hey, yes 2 weeks before I am meant to be getting it in gear...then again I'll probably just pick up a somewhat relevant subject for the next 6 months and start next February so I can have my supervisor of choice.
Managed to do my first 7 hour shift a couple of days ago and, jeez, what torture. I don't know how people do it all the time. 4-5 hours of standing at a checkout is ok, any more than that and my ankles start to attack me with sharp stabby pains and my knees fill with fluid and the balls of my feet feel tenderised. I was watching a show on the history of torture yesterday, and some of my symptoms sound pretty similar to the results of some of the best torture techniques. But at least I get money at the end...err...that kinda makes it sound like masochistic prostitution...which TOTALLY WASN'T MY INTENTION.
Anyway...I'll get around to catching up with everyone's most recent posts soon.yes the crazy fly by poster will probably be me I actually really want to play Reppelz, but having my guy sit around for long enought to build his stamina to decent levels is killing me (NB don't EVER randomly install computer games in the middle of your study week...it really doesn't help with that overall theme of stopping procrastination)
I'll also try and post some more interesting things that aren't just me returning from the dead...as have basically been my last few posts (Looking at my posting history...I don't think I've done anything new or interesting since last year :S)
To kick off I have soem quiz results...
So...I'm an average 1930s husband. (Answered as if...you know...I actually would ever have a spouse)
But am an absolutely abysmal 1930s wife. Which I can totally live with. If I had 1930s wifey type values I'd seriously have to reconsider my take on my personality.

And this makes my laugh (1, because the test is so hinky and 2, I really don't have that much caffeine. You could almost call my decaffeinated)
Ok, that's enough woobling.
(Yes, I am probably high from end of session and exams...will try for more coherency later)
*luffles you all*
See you on the net.

See you on the net.

(Otherwise I'd be a very big hypocrite...and I try to only do that every 2nd equinox :P)
Thankyou.
It's a big relief. No longer do I have the threats of abject failure hanging over my degree...even if I have picked up another subject to keep me occupied for the next 6 months.
*buggles*
Miss you too.
Time seems to be running away from us.
How are you?

Currently job hunting, hope it'll go well. Am planning to work at least 1 or 2 years to save up money and if other opportunity arises in the future, will possible consider them ^^;

Any particular job you're hunting for?
