Today (as in 24/12) was just the best! (apart from the boring christmas party and menial tasks that needed completing before tomorrow).

...and you know why?

BECAUSE I GOT SATURDAY POST, and in that post was my pressie from my B-kins.

My little sister keeps trying to steal them and I am jealously defending them.

Plus the stickers and the ruler and the badge and the note pad and the phone dangle (which is Hao and Yoh and OMG LOVE!) and the doujinshi (which is more Hao/Yoh love...though I don't understand a word of it)

And now we can both fangirl over the prettiness angstness that is Vanyel, because God dammit, I adore him to effing pieces and he helped convert me to slash. Also, out of all Mercedes books (first book has Moondance, I adore him), I think this trilogy was the best done.
Oh your very welcome partner of mine ^_^, shopping for people is fun.

...there was very little chance I wouldn't have liked it, because

1. Me=bookworm
2. Have been trying to read those books forever
3. there is much adorable prettyness in stickers and badges and phone danglers (it pretty, I like...sometimes even when I don't know who I'm drooling over)
4. PREEEETTY

(I think I like this series of hers [so far] because the main character is the shay'a'charn and actually has to deal with the problems of his sexuality, and the relationship is actually sort of developed in the books...her other series with characters like Firesong...well he was semi-insane quite a bit, the relationship was falling apart before the story started and then in the Owl series, his relationship with Silverfox(?) was established and barely touched on...this isn't a rant...of course not...)

...ahhh, the fics...yours are gonna be late too.
I've had to revise my schedule for this week and I'm now hoping to get everything done by New Years, one of your ficlets turned into a monster and won't let me go until I manage towork out how to conclude it...or how it's feasible at all (damn my logical mind)
(the books kept distracting me so I picked them up, and now I'm halfway through the 2nd book, and god, I should answer all my story reviews, but then I have to take the time to do it, which means not reading...you see my dilemma?)

So glad I never have to go to school again!

That series is still my fav of hers. I thought Vanyel is so nicely developed and you can really watch him grow and mature, and watch him be the angsty hero because he's so bloody powerfull but yet he hates it all at the same time. I ADORE Van Eeeeee~ and his pretty silver eyes *_*
No... I don't have a thing at all for silver eyes.

Your fic is going to have parts... because I miss writing something long and more than a one shot. So yeah, yours will come out in chunks.

You go read so we can fangirl over them together. I adore and hate the third book at the same time. Oh so good and lovely and gets so much of my love but it twists my fucking heart at the same time and pops it out with a cork screw.

Silver eyes are delicious aren't they? There really need to be more characters with them...and purple eyes too. Love purple eyes(Aya). But red is also delicious (Kantarou, Kan-chan!) Though pretty green(Hisoka)can substitute and blue(..Haruka, though his are more grey blue) can be awefully beautiful...still silver eyes...
(It's really the character's personality that attracts me, and the eyes that keep me)

I really need to get back on track for writing them, because over half my ideas are for multipart stories but I just don't have the motivation to get past the first 3 or 4 chapters.
